Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has done a very good job since joining Chelsea as their manager. He restored orderliness and fulfilled his promise of making The Blues a team no one wants to go up against. Under former manager, Frank Lampard, Chelsea struggled with organization, especially at the back.
Since his appointment The Blues have gone on to win the UCL and the UEFA Super Cup. A brilliant start to the season sees the Blues sit 3rd on the PL table and they have also secured a last 16 tie against Ligue 1 reigning champions Lille in the UCL.
However, shaky performances over their last four matches raises an alarm for caution and correction. The Blues have dropped more points in their last 3matches than they have dropped all season. A 3-3 draw to Zenit also saw Chelsea lose 1st place to Juventus in their UCL group.
Chelsea have also failed to keep a cleansheet in their last 4 matches in all competitions. Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy who played a key part in their success last season has started the season well too. Only to see his defense become porous over the last few matches.
With 8goals conceded in their last 3matches, a reshuffle might be needed at the back. With Ben Chilwell out till further notice and Christensen and Rudiger yet to commit their future to the club. The Blues might need to look else where for reinforcements.
