A very big call from manager Mikel Arteta. However, Arsenal need more than just  big name, they need a rel leader who gives his all on the pitch. Ever since signing a big money contract with The Gunners, he hasn’t lived up to expectations at the club. A poor run of form this seaon even rubbing salts on his wounds.

If Aubameyang fails to re-discover his best form, he could be axed from the Arsenal starting XI or look for game time else where.

Other issues at the Emirates include the uncertainty that surrounds the future of French striker Alexander Lacazette. He hasn’t committed his future to the club and could leave on a free next summer.
